KPI Solutions Inc. was founded by Patrick Kimera with a purpose that was clear from the start: bring a more strategic, more supportive approach to accounting and business advisory for small business owners.
Before launching the firm, Patrick spent years advising companies across the country through a prominent consulting firm based in Illinois. That work took him inside businesses of all sizes and across many industries, and what he kept seeing was the same gap. Business owners were getting their returns filed and their books kept, but they weren't getting the strategic guidance that would actually help them grow. They had accountants. What they needed was an advisor.
Patrick believed that small business owners deserved more than compliance work. They deserved a trusted partner who could help them understand what their numbers were telling them, plan ahead with confidence, and make decisions grounded in real financial insight rather than best guesses.
In 2007, he founded KPI Solutions Inc. in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, and brought that vision directly to the regional business community. Patrick Kimera is a business management advisor with more than 20 years of consulting and coaching experience working with entrepreneurs across a wide range of industries.
He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration and a Master's Degree in Economic Development from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, a combination that gives him both the strategic framework and the economic context to understand how businesses grow, where they get stuck, and what it actually takes to build something sustainable.
Before founding KPI Solutions, Patrick worked with a respected Illinois-based consulting firm where he advised small businesses throughout the United States. That national exposure gave him a perspective that most regional CPA firms simply don't have — a broad view of the patterns that lead to growth and the ones that quietly undermine it, regardless of industry or geography.
Since 2007, Patrick has applied that experience directly to the businesses of more than 200 small business owners across Southern New Hampshire and Central Massachusetts. He brings the same level of engagement to each relationship, whether a client is navigating their first growth phase or preparing for a significant ownership transition.
Patrick's commitment to the region extends well beyond client work. He has served as Past President of the Rotary Club of Chelmsford, sits on the Finance Committee for the Town of Chelmsford, serves as a Board Member and Treasurer for LifeLinks Inc., and is an active member of BNI's Premier Chapter in Chelmsford. That involvement reflects something he holds as a genuine conviction: strong businesses and strong communities build each other.
